#Filibuster Reform: Am I the Only One NOT Drinking the Kool-Aid?

I get it. The Republicans in the US Senate have been using the threat of filibusters to stop every form of progressive legislation that's been proposed since the start of Obama's presidency. Filibuster reform would limit this problem, either moderately or severely, depending on which kind of reform ever passes.

The system enables Republicans, today, at least. I get that.

The problem is that if the Republicans ever gain control of the US Senate, this filibuster reform will come back to bite America on the rear end. And it will be a big chunk that gets chewed off, too.

Think about that. What the Republicans do today, could be useful for Democrats in the future if they find their backs to the wall with, say, a potential repeal of the Affordable Care Act.
